Q & A With Coach

What is your favorite quote?

“Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard”

Who is your favorite coach?

Tom Izzo - Michigan State

Where do you place your emphasis (offense, defense) during practice and games?

I teach the essential skills of offense and defense during practice to create a well-balanced overall player.
This gives the player flexibility to fit it any scheme and/or system.

How do you measure the success of your players?

By seeing growth in their knowledge and skill throughout a season.

What is unique about you as a coach?

I connect with players on a personal level which enables me to push them outside of their comfort zone in turn helps them grow as a player and as a person.

Any personal thoughts?

One thing that I believe in is always putting in maximum effort in everything you do. When you do that, you know you have given it your all and can live with the results.

Who inspires you?

WHAT inspires me?.... the fear of not giving my best.
